I am on my second career. The great thing about a second career is that when you get to choose it, it's really the one you were destined for. I worked at MIT for 19 years, but my love of sports and fitness led me to where I am today – one of the founders of bodyco. I have always had an abundance of positive energy. And I enjoy being able to share that with my clients. I take pride in working with clients to change their attitudes towards working out, and help them build a true commitment to health and fitness. I know that there's potential inside everyone to be the best they can be. I feel lucky to be part of their journey towards realizing that potential. And I get great fulfillment from being an educator and motivator who helps get things started for my clients.
Ultimately, it's their hard work and determination that allows them to reach the goals at the end of their journey. I just show them the path – and keep them inspired every step of the way.
Your body is a complex structure and requires lots of fine-tuning. I'm all about working you to the max while focusing on the small things. Janelle Nicolo has excelled in the fitness industry as a spokesperson for health and fitness within the past 5 years after competing in her first National fitness competition in 2005. Fitness competitions changed her mentality towards working out and Janelle started to think more about the way she felt, the drive, the strength, the courage and passion she needed for the sport of fitness, which has all lead her to the complete healthy lifestyle she lives today!
Janelle is the 2007 ESPN Bikini America Short Class Champion and has appeared in Oxygen magazine numerous times along with being featured in Muscular Development, Natural Muscle, complete Woman, Fitness & Physique and Supermodels Unlimited magazines to name a few. She also has two healthy e-cookbooks and writes monthly healthy eating columns for a few national magazines.
