Burn
The only way to be in the best shape is to have access to the best routines. Burn develops its routines by utilizing any and all of the equipment inside and outside of bodyco. If we don’t have what it’s going to take to get you into shape, we will find it. This is a non-stop hour of cardio (minus the boring cardio equipment) and weights all blended together for a functional training experience we call Burn.
Cycle/Core
Combine the high energy, music pumping atmosphere of cycle while you speed down straight-aways, climb hills, and sprint, with a lifting program that will to help maximize your caloric expenditures, achieve leaner muscles and obtain superior core strength and stability and BAM you have Cycle Core.
Muscle Command
Propel yourself into the 21st Century of Group Training. Muscle Command offers anything besides your traditional styles of training. Every time you enter the Muscle Command group you will have no idea of what’s about to take place. This group is ever evolving and will never feel like the same routine twice. If you’re bored of the same exercises and music week after week at your conventional gym, then look no further and we will look forward to seeing you in Muscle Command.
Monday Madness/Wicked Wednesdays/Friday Frenzy
Monday Madness, Wicked Wednesdays and Friday Frenzy are just that, we pull out all the stops to prepare for these group. These new training experiences can and will incorporate the training styles from any of our other groups. It is influenced by our one on one training methods and performed in a group setting. Come prepared to get your lift on, we involve a good foundation of lifting in these groups for the ultimate muscular gains so you can achieve the lean “toned“ look you are striving for. You will not be doing a cute little circuit with little rubber weights. We will be counting sets and reps and making notes of your strength increases. This is one of the few groups that take place on the Private Training Floor.
Saturday Slaughter
The name says it all. If you think you have what it takes to push yourself beyond your limits, there's only one way to find out - experience this training program. We utilize many training modalities during this hour-long session of pure, full-body intensity: lifting, core, anaerobic, agility, plyometric, explosiveness and sheer gut-wrenching training. Each session is held on the weight room floor and is conducted as if it were a private, one-on-one personal training session. And at the end, only one question will remain. Will you survive to come back for round two?
Tabata
This is a courageous, dynamic, class that's scientifically proven to enhance overall physical strength, challenge tenacity, and dramatically transform the body in weeks! A Tabata protocol is a high-intensity training regimen that produces remarkable results! A Tabata workout is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without rest for 8 intervals (4 minutes). Intervals tax both your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems and this reverse ratio will burn double the calories any other interval will! Your goal is to get in as many reps as you can get in during the twenty seconds, followed by ten seconds rest and watch yourself improve and transform over the weeks! The class is made up of several of these interval sequences. Intense doesn't adequately describe it. It's more like 240 seconds of h*ll. Well except the ten seconds you get to rest.
Jump n Jacked
Jumping rope for 10 minutes at 150 turns per minute is equal to 30 minutes of running between six and seven miles per hour.
Hop, Skip and a Jump into Fitness. Come and try our total body workout that blends jump ropes, calisthenics, core training, and even strength training into a one hour, caloric-incinerating, workout. Class will alternate between rope jumping, conditioning drills and a variety of strength exercises. The only short breaks involve the use of free weights for upper and lower body work. Skippers of all levels are welcome!
